Frequently Asked Questions
What does 'Hybrid' mean in the product name?
It signifies a hybrid between a traditional compression stocking and an adjustable wrap. It has the structured form of a liner/stocking but uses adjustable closures like a wrap, combining benefits of both.
How do I choose the right size for a FarrowHybrid wrap?
Accurate measurement when swelling is minimal is crucial. Use the specific product sizing chart. These garments often have a size range based on circumference measurements; choosing the correct size ensures the adjustable closures work effectively.
How often can I adjust the VELCRO®?
As often as needed. The system is designed for frequent adjustment to match swelling changes. You can loosen it as edema decreases during the day or re-tighten it if swelling increases.
Is this a replacement for professional bandaging?
It is designed to provide similar therapeutic benefits (short-stretch action) and can be used in the maintenance phase. For intensive decongestion, professional multi-layer bandaging may still be necessary initially.
How do I care for this wrap?
Typically, hand wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and air dry. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Check the care label to preserve the VELCRO® and fabric elasticity.
Can this be used on both legs?
Yes, but you will need one for each leg if both are affected. They are designed for individual limb application to allow for independent adjustment based on each limb's needs.

Then, measure the distance from the floor to the back of your knee. -
For thigh-high and pantyhose: measure around your ankle, calf, and
upper thigh.
Then, measure the distance from the floor to your upper thigh (bottom of your buttocks).
An Important Measuring Tip...

How to Properly Measure and Apply Compression Stockings
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings. Keep in mind that each manufacturer of support hose has their own sizing chart. A medium size in one brand of circulation stockings, may not be a medium in another. Some brands of compression stockings offer petite (shorter) lengths, while others do not.
