Actimove focuses on orthopaedic supports and braces for joints, muscles, and mobility — knee, ankle, wrist, elbow, shoulder, and back. They share the same parent company and quality standards, but address different clinical needs.

Yes. Actimove has replaced the Safe-T-Sport brace range from BSN Medical. If you previously used a Safe-T-Sport neoprene knee sleeve or other Safe-T-Sport support, the equivalent Actimove product is the direct replacement — same manufacturer, updated design. The Actimove GenuMotion 3D Orthopaedic Knit Knee Support is designed for everyday knee pain management, minor instability, and conditions like mild osteoarthritis and patellar discomfort. The 3D knit construction contours anatomically to the knee, providing targeted compression and mild medial-lateral stabilisation without a rigid stay. It is suitable for daily wear during activity and recovery.

Most Actimove supports are available over the counter without a prescription. They are classed as OTC (over-the-counter) orthopaedic supports for minor injuries, pain management, and sport. For post-surgical rehabilitation or prescription-level stabilisation devices, consult your orthopaedic surgeon or physical therapist, who may recommend a different class of brace. FSA and HSA eligibility depends on your plan.

Actimove braces are sized by circumference measurements at the relevant joint — knee, ankle, wrist, or waist for back supports. Measure at the widest point of the joint (e.g. around the kneecap for knee supports) and match to the size chart on each product. Sizing is consistent across the Actimove range. If you are between sizes, refer to the specific product chart as the recommendation varies — some support more support slightly larger, others slightly smaller for firmer compression.
