How to measure your legs for compression stockings, support socks, support hose, and gradient compression hosiery.
An important measuring tip: take your measurements with a tape measure, as shown below. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page for your convenience. If you need further assistance, please call 1-800-504-7315 or Live Chat with us.

Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point, generally above the ankle bone.

Measure around the calf muscle at the widest part.

Measure from the floor to the bend behind the knee.

Measure around the thigh approximately 3" below the gluteal fold (crease of the buttocks).

Measure the distance from the bottom of your buttocks to the floor.
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings—each manufacturer has their own sizing chart. A medium in one brand may not be a medium in another, and some brands offer petite (shorter) lengths while others do not. Knowing your measurements will ensure you get compression hosiery that fits properly and comfortably. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page.

"These are the best that I have found anywhere!"
"Very comfortable!"
"Fits as expected. Stays in place through activity."
"Effective product but does tend to wear out in the heel quickly"
"These work great since I am recovering from a blood clot in my leg."
"I find these socks too expensive for the time they last, these are my second pair since the beginning of october and after only one and a half month they don't stay up anymore. I have to wear these for medical purpose."
"Never thought about compression socks until my doctor prescribed them for me. Was kind of leery about using product but just gave them a try. Upon slipping these socks on my legs began to feel better. Since using my Sigvaris socks there has been no swelling and much better circulation. Now I can go through my busy day in more comfort. I like these so much that I bought additional pairs. I found a much better price a compressionsale. com. Very satisfied with their service and prompt delivery to my door."
