Description
The OTC 2371 high performance ankle brace can be used for either therapeutic or preventative support for the ankle. It is effective in stabilizing the ankle joint following severe sprains, tendinitis or after cast removal. The semi-rigid spiral stays provide excellent side-to-side support. The stays also help the brace control rotational strains on the ankle, and they provide resistance to inversion and eversion. The lace front facilitates application and post swelling adjustment.

How to measure your legs for compression stockings, support socks, support hose, and gradient compression hosiery.
Where to Measure
- For knee-highs: measure around your ankle and calf. Then measure the distance from the floor to the back of your knee.
- For thigh-highs and pantyhose: measure around your ankle, calf, and upper thigh. Then measure the distance from the floor to your upper thigh (bottom of your buttocks).

How to Properly Measure and Apply Compression Stockings
The Key Measurements
Ankle
Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point, generally above the ankle bone.
Calf
Measure around the calf muscle at the widest part.
Length
Measure from the floor to the bend behind the knee.
Thigh
Measure around the thigh approximately 3" below the gluteal fold (crease of the buttocks).
Thigh Length
Measure the distance from the bottom of your buttocks to the floor.
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings—each manufacturer has their own sizing chart. A medium in one brand may not be a medium in another, and some brands offer petite (shorter) lengths while others do not.
