Collection: Big & Tall Compression Socks

Compression Built for Bigger & Taller Frames

Men and Women with larger frames, fuller calves, or longer legs are too often forced into standard compression that's too tight in the calf or too short to work properly. Our Big & Tall collection provides full therapeutic graduated compression in extended sizes — so the pressure is accurate, the fit is comfortable, and the stocking actually stays where it should.

Compression Levels

Choose the level that matches your needs:

  • 8–15 mmHg (Mild) — everyday comfort, light leg fatigue, and prevention; no prescription needed
  • 15–20 mmHg (Moderate) — tired, aching legs, travel, pregnancy, and early varicose veins
  • 20–30 mmHg (Firm) — the most prescribed level: varicose veins, moderate swelling, recovery
  • 30–40 mmHg (Extra Firm) — severe swelling, lymphedema, and CVI, under medical guidance

Measure your calf at its widest point — if it exceeds about 18–22 inches, you need wide-calf or big-and-tall sizing. Also check length: if standard socks are too short or your legs are taller than average, big-and-tall lengths will fit properly. Signs you need them: standard socks dig in at the calf, roll down, or feel too short.

No — a sock that's too tight on the calf compresses unevenly and can restrict rather than support circulation, defeating the purpose. That's exactly why big-and-tall sizing exists: it provides the correct graduated pressure for a larger leg. Always size to your actual calf measurement rather than forcing a standard size.

Big & Tall compression is available across the full range — 8–15, 15–20, 20–30, and 30–40 mmHg — though selection varies by brand. Whatever level your needs or doctor call for, our fitters can help you find it in an extended size.

Measure your calf circumference at its widest point and your ankle-to-knee length, both in the morning before swelling sets in. Match both to the brand's size chart. Getting both measurements right ensures the compression is accurate and comfortable. Our Measuring Guide walks you through it.

Yes — they provide the same mmHg graduated compression as standard sizes, just proportioned for larger and longer legs. You get full therapeutic benefit with a fit that doesn't constrict or fall short.
