Is the open toe less effective for full-leg compression?
No. The therapeutic compression is identical; it is simply applied to a toeless foot. The graduated pressure from ankle to thigh remains fully effective.
How do I put on a thigh-high open-toe stocking?
Gather the stocking, insert your foot through the open toe, and carefully work it up your leg, ensuring it's smooth and straight. Donning gloves are highly recommended.
Can I wear these for swelling in my feet?
Moderate compression can help prevent foot swelling. The open toe accommodates some swelling, but significant edema requires medical evaluation to determine the correct compression level.
Are these too warm for summer?
They are the coolest possible thigh-high option. The open toe and breathable fabrics are specifically designed to address heat concerns with full-leg wear.
What if the silicone band feels too tight?
This indicates incorrect sizing. Re-measure your thigh at the gluteal fold. The band should feel secure but not leave deep marks or cause pain.
How do I care for them?
Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent. Lay flat to dry, reshaping the open toe. Never bleach, iron, or tumble dry.

Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point, generally above the ankle bone.

Measure from the floor to the bend behind the knee.

Measure around the thigh approximately 3 inches below the gluteal fold (crease of the buttocks).

Measure the distance from the bottom of your buttocks to the floor.
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings—each manufacturer has their own sizing chart. A medium in one brand may not be a medium in another, and some brands offer petite (shorter) lengths while others do not.
