How to measure your legs for compression stockings, support socks, support hose, and gradient compression hosiery.
An important measuring tip: take your measurements with a tape measure, as shown below. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page for your convenience. If you need further assistance, please call 1-800-504-7315 or Live Chat with us.

Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point, generally above the ankle bone.

Measure around the calf muscle at the widest part.

Measure from the floor to the bend behind the knee.

Measure around the thigh approximately 3" below the gluteal fold (crease of the buttocks).

Measure the distance from the bottom of your buttocks to the floor.
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings—each manufacturer has their own sizing chart. A medium in one brand may not be a medium in another, and some brands offer petite (shorter) lengths while others do not. Knowing your measurements will ensure you get compression hosiery that fits properly and comfortably. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page.

"These are great. Getting ready to order another pair."
"I received 2 pair of compression hose from the company above with the box marked with the sizes I gave them. But, the hose had no chance of fitting my feet and legs. They absolutely would not stretch enough for the toe box to fit more than my big toe and the 2 toes next to it. I I think this may have happened before with Therafirm. I will not forget again! They are going back!"
"I am light-skinned and believed I was ordering a very sheer product as evidenced in the picture. These are heavy and definitely not sheer. They make my legs look like a mannequin's."
"Appears durable for regular use."
"Fits decently, but a bit tight for comfort."
"Been a customer for years, needed to resize and was no problem with Therfirms detailed sizing charts."
"Great compression make my legs feel very good"
"I just received them so I have not worn them yet."
"These are smooth and have a really comfortable toe box, unlike others I have bought before, which squish the toes by the end of the day."
