Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point, generally above the ankle bone.
Measure around the calf muscle at the widest part.
Measure from the floor to the bend behind the knee.
Measure around the thigh approximately 3 inches below the gluteal fold (crease of the buttocks).
Measure the distance from the bottom of your buttocks to the floor.
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings—each manufacturer has their own sizing chart. A medium in one brand may not be a medium in another, and some brands offer petite (shorter) lengths while others do not. "These are the best. I used to buy another brand without the silicone tops and they always rolled down constricting my legs. I used skin glue to keep them in place. That stuff is messy! Silicone top bands are the anti roll answer. They stay in place and are comfortable and the 5 cm. band is better than the thinner one."
