How to measure your legs for compression stockings, support socks, support hose, and gradient compression hosiery.
Where to Measure
- For knee-highs: measure around your ankle and calf. Then measure the distance from the floor to the back of your knee.
- For thigh-highs and pantyhose: measure around your ankle, calf, and upper thigh. Then measure the distance from the floor to your upper thigh (bottom of your buttocks).

How to Properly Measure and Apply Compression Stockings
The Key Measurements
Ankle
Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point, generally above the ankle bone.
Calf
Measure around the calf muscle at the widest part.
Length
Measure from the floor to the bend behind the knee.
Thigh
Measure around the thigh approximately 3" below the gluteal fold (crease of the buttocks).
Thigh Length
Measure the distance from the bottom of your buttocks to the floor.
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings—each manufacturer has their own sizing chart. A medium in one brand may not be a medium in another, and some brands offer petite (shorter) lengths while others do not. Knowing your measurements will ensure you get compression hosiery that fits properly and comfortably. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page.

Worst Customer service experience ever
"Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Purchased compression stocking as per recommended by one of your agents, I explained sizing clearly to her and the stocking were way to tight. Only tried one stocking on and realized it was cutting off . y circulation. Called customer service immediately after trying it on, within an hour after the package arrived and the man that I spoke with was, shall we say less than helpful and told me that since I had tried one on it may be considered "used". This is all within 10 minutes after receiving the stocking. He told me basically that I would have to send them back and they would look at them and determine how to proceed with a partial credit, no refund. I would absolutely not recommend your company to anyone. I will be reporting this matter to both the better bussiness and to the State Attorney General. Thanks for nothing,"

"I like these knee highs, especially the silicone dot top, any other kind rolls down and is a huge problem for me. My only complaint is that they are a little too high and are in the bend of my knee in the back, I can deal with it but it makes them uncomfortable. No one size fits all is a great fit but when you need compression you learn to live with what ever is available. As far as compared to others these are great."
