Second Skin Surgical Grade thigh highs deliver 30-40 mmHg extra firm graduated compression from ankle to mid-thigh, held in place by a silicone dot stay-up top designed to stay in place without constricting the leg. A classic, concealing smooth knit texture that helps conceal unsightly conditions. Available in Small to X-Large. This sits in the extra firm compression class, indicated for advanced varicose veins, heavy or lymphatic swelling, chronic venous insufficiency (cvi), preventing and managing venous ulcers.

How to measure your legs for compression stockings, support socks, support hose, and gradient compression hosiery.
Where to Measure
- For knee-highs: measure around your ankle and calf. Then measure the distance from the floor to the back of your knee.
- For thigh-highs and pantyhose: measure around your ankle, calf, and upper thigh. Then measure the distance from the floor to your upper thigh (bottom of your buttocks).

How to Properly Measure and Apply Compression Stockings
The Key Measurements
Ankle
Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point, generally above the ankle bone.
Calf
Measure around the calf muscle at the widest part.
Length
Measure from the floor to the bend behind the knee.
Thigh
Measure around the thigh approximately 3 inches below the gluteal fold (crease of the buttocks).
Thigh Length
Measure the distance from the bottom of your buttocks to the floor.
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings—each manufacturer has their own sizing chart. A medium in one brand may not be a medium in another, and some brands offer petite (shorter) lengths while others do not.
