How to measure your legs for compression stockings, support socks, support hose, and gradient compression hosiery.
An important measuring tip: take your measurements with a tape measure, as shown below. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page for your convenience. If you need further assistance, please call 1-800-504-7315 or Live Chat with us.

Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point, generally above the ankle bone.

Measure around the calf muscle at the widest part.

Measure from the floor to the bend behind the knee.

Measure around the thigh approximately 3 inches below the gluteal fold (crease of the buttocks).

Measure the distance from the bottom of your buttocks to the floor.
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings—each manufacturer has their own sizing chart. A medium in one brand may not be a medium in another, and some brands offer petite (shorter) lengths while others do not. Knowing your measurements will ensure you get compression hosiery that fits properly and comfortably. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page.

"Seems sturdy for regular use, untested for tough environments."
"Socks felt really good on, but after removing them, had deep lines up and down my legs from the socks. Took hours to disappear. Was wondering if I should have bought the next larger size, but they seemed to fit well."
"Isn't what I thought it would be. Seems to lack proper elasticity to provide enough compression for 15-20 m."
"Fits as expected, but could be a bit snug."
