How to measure your legs for compression stockings, support socks, support hose, and gradient compression hosiery.
An important measuring tip: take your measurements with a tape measure, as shown below. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page for your convenience. If you need further assistance, please call 1-800-504-7315 or Live Chat with us.

Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point, generally above the ankle bone.

Measure around the calf muscle at the widest part.

Measure from the floor to the bend behind the knee.

Measure around the thigh approximately 3 inches below the gluteal fold (crease of the buttocks).

Measure the distance from the bottom of your buttocks to the floor.
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings—each manufacturer has their own sizing chart. A medium in one brand may not be a medium in another, and some brands offer petite (shorter) lengths while others do not. Knowing your measurements will ensure you get compression hosiery that fits properly and comfortably. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page.

"These fit well and not a bad price when they're on sale"
"I just had a Mako robotic knee replacement 2 weeks ago. I wear the Therafirm compression stocking and can control the swelling. I love the open toe and natural look!"
"I like these, just enough compression and my toes are not being restricted"
"second pair I purchased. Comfortable, easy to put on."
"Love the open toe. The socks are very comfortable and the price was good."
"Comfortable"
"works well - but my little toes get caught in the toe holes causing it to be uncomfortable"
"Love these compression stockings. Good quality and fit. Better than expensive custom stockings!"
"These are definitely not like the ones I bought a year or so ago. A real struggle to get them on and off and the top bands aren’t form fitting. They are pretty darn tight and can only wear them a few hours."
"I really do like this compression stocking however it must be slightly small for me because the top of the stocking tends to roll after you've had it on for an hour or two. I had also tried the extra large but they were a little too loose. So I guess I won't be able to purchase more of these , because I appear to be in between a large and an extra large stocking."
