Therafirm Ease Opaque Lymphedema Glove 20-30 mmHg — Firm Compression for Upper-Extremity Lymphedema

The Ease Opaque Lymphedema glove from Therafirm, part of Thuasne, delivers 20-30 mmHg true gradient compression for the hand and fingers. It is commonly used to help manage upper-extremity lymphedema and swelling, including breast-cancer-related arm swelling, when your clinician recommends compression. Seamless compressive fingers extend coverage to the finger area. Ultra-stretchy yarns make it easier to put on, and moisture-wicking CoolMax® fibers keep it comfortable through the day. Unisex sizing from Small to X-Large in Sand and Black. Made in the USA.

  • Seamless Compressive Fingers: Seamless fingers extend compression to the finger area.
  • Non-Restrictive Wrist: Soft, non-restrictive wrist for added comfort.
  • Easier to Put On: Ultra-stretchy yarns make the garment easier to put on and more comfortable to wear.
  • Moisture Management: Moisture-wicking CoolMax® fibers help keep skin dry and comfortably cool.
  • Soft Opaque Knit: Super soft, breathable opaque material.
  • Helps Manage Lymphedema: True gradient compression supports lymphatic flow in the hand and fingers as part of a clinician-directed lymphedema plan.
  • Helps Control Swelling: Consistent pressure helps limit fluid build-up and the feeling of heaviness.
  • Daytime Maintenance: Commonly worn during the day to help maintain the results of decongestive therapy.
  • Comfort for All-Day Wear: Soft, breathable knit and a non-restrictive wrist for long wear times.
  • Upper-Extremity Lymphedema: Commonly used for lymphedema affecting the hand and fingers.
  • Breast-Cancer-Related Swelling: Often recommended after mastectomy or lymph node procedures when compression is prescribed.
  • Edema: May help relieve swelling and discomfort in the hand and fingers.

Do not use compression stockings if the patient has any of the following conditions: severe arterial insufficiency, uncontrolled congestive heart failure, skin infections, red or sensitive skin, hardening of the skin or untreated leg ulcers. Consult physician before application for patients with: impaired sensitivity of the limb, sensitivity to the garment material, or any circulatory disorders.

It combines 20-30 mmHg true gradient compression with ultra-stretchy yarns that make it easier to put on, a soft opaque CoolMax® knit that wicks moisture, and a non-restrictive wrist.

20-30 mmHg is firm compression. Pressure is highest at the wrist and decreases up the limb to help move fluid out of the hand and fingers. Your lymphedema therapist or physician should confirm the compression level that is right for you.

Measure as shown on the size chart for this product, ideally in the morning when swelling is lowest, and compare your measurements with the chart before choosing a size. If you fall between sizes, ask your therapist or use the brand's fitting guidance.

Put the garment on when your skin is dry. Turn it partly inside out, slide your hand into place, and work the fabric gradually up the arm without pulling on the top edge. Smooth out wrinkles; do not fold or roll the upper edge. To remove it, ease the fabric downward in stages. If gripping or applying the garment is difficult, consider donning and doffing aids, including application gloves and stocking donners.

Hand wash in lukewarm or cold water with a mild detergent and lay flat to dry. Avoid bleach, ironing and excessive heat. These instructions follow Therafirm's garment-care guidance.
