Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Easy-Slide work with open toe stockings?
The open toe design of the stocking allows your toes to protrude through the aid. You place the stocking over the aid, insert your foot, and then pull the device up, sliding the stocking onto your leg while your toes remain free.
How do I choose the right size for knee high compression stockings?
Accurate measurement is crucial. Please refer to our detailed compression stocking sizing guide.
Can it be used for closed toe stockings?
It is optimized for open toe stockings. For closed toe styles, other Arion aids like the Sim Slide might be more appropriate, though it can sometimes be used with care.
Is it machine washable?
It is recommended to hand wash with mild soap and air dry. Do not machine wash or dry, as this could damage the material and silicone components.
How does it help caregivers?
It reduces the physical strain on caregivers' hands and backs when applying compression stockings to patients, making the process faster and less tiring for both.
What is the difference between Easy-Slide and Sim-Slide?
The Easy-Slide is typically larger, made of a specific fabric blend, and designed for higher compression/open toe garments. The Sim-Slide is often a smaller, more compact plastic aid for standard stockings.
