Key Features
- High-Tech Moisture Management: Made with 67% COOLMAX® fiber, a leading performance fabric that wicks sweat away from the skin to keep feet dry and reduce blister risk.
- Performance-Oriented Compression: Delivers 8-15 mmHg graduated pressure to support calf muscles, improve oxygenation, and reduce vibration during activity.
- Enhanced Muscle Support: The knit construction provides targeted support to key muscle groups in the calf, which may help reduce fatigue and improve proprioception.
- Breathable & Durable Design: The blend of Nylon, Spandex, and COOLMAX® offers a breathable, flexible fit that withstands the rigors of intense training.
- Ideal for Pre, During, & Post Activity: Can be worn for performance enhancement, during exercise for muscle stabilization, and after for faster recovery.
Therapeutic Benefits and Use
- Supports Athletic Performance: May enhance blood flow and muscle oxygenation during exercise, potentially improving endurance and power output.
- Accelerates Post-Workout Recovery: Worn after exercise, the compression helps flush metabolic waste like lactate from muscles, reducing soreness and shortening recovery time.
- Reduces Exercise-Induced Swelling (Edema): Helps minimize the minor swelling that can occur in feet and ankles after long training sessions or competitions.
- Promotes Healthy Blood Flow During Inactivity: Useful for travel to competitions or on rest days to maintain circulation and leg freshness.
- Manages Varicose Veins in Athletes: Provides mild support for venous health, which can be beneficial for athletes with a predisposition to vein issues.
- Minimizes Muscle Vibration & Fatigue: The supportive fabric can dampen muscle oscillation during impact activities like running, which may delay the onset of muscle fatigue.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do athletic compression socks differ from regular compression socks?
Athletic versions like these often feature advanced moisture-wicking fabrics (like COOLMAX®), targeted knit patterns for muscle support, and are marketed for performance and recovery benefits alongside general circulatory support.
Should I wear them during or after my workout?
You can wear them for both! Many athletes wear them during activity for muscle support and enhanced circulation, and continue wearing them afterward to aid recovery. Experiment to see what works best for you.
How do I choose the right size?
Accurate measurement is crucial for effective compression. Please refer to our detailed compression stocking sizing guide.
Can non-athletes wear these socks?
Absolutely. The performance features like moisture-wicking and muscle support are also beneficial for anyone with an active job, who travels, or who simply wants very comfortable, technical compression socks.

Measuring Guide for Sizing of Compression Stockings
Measuring Guide
How to measure your legs for compression stockings, support socks, support hose, and gradient compression hosiery.
Where to Measure
- For knee-highs: measure around your ankle and calf. Then measure the distance from the floor to the back of your knee.
- For thigh-highs and pantyhose: measure around your ankle, calf, and upper thigh. Then measure the distance from the floor to your upper thigh (bottom of your buttocks).
An important measuring tip: take your measurements with a tape measure, as shown below. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page for your convenience. If you need further assistance, please call 1-800-504-7315 or Live Chat with us.
