How is this different from the open-toe thigh high?
The therapeutic compression is identical. This closed-toe version provides complete foot coverage and warmth, which some women prefer. The open-toe variant focuses on breathability and toe freedom.
Are thigh-highs recommended for all pregnancies?
No. They are specifically for when symptoms (swelling, varicose veins) are present above the knee. Your doctor will advise if thigh-highs are necessary for your condition.
Can I sleep in these?
No. Compression stockings are for wearing during waking hours. Remove them before going to bed unless specifically instructed otherwise by your physician.
What if the silicone band leaves a mark?
A light, temporary mark is normal. A deep, painful, or lasting mark indicates the size is too small or the band is too tight. Re-measure and consult the size chart.
How long do they last with daily wear?
With proper care, expect 3-4 months of therapeutic efficacy from a single pair worn daily. It's recommended to rotate two pairs to extend the life of each.
Will these help with restless legs during pregnancy?
Compression can alleviate symptoms of restless legs syndrome (RLS) for some women by improving circulation and providing sensory input to the legs. Discuss with your doctor.
