How to measure your legs for compression stockings, support socks, support hose, and gradient compression hosiery.
An important measuring tip: take your measurements with a tape measure, as shown below. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page for your convenience. If you need further assistance, please call 1-800-504-7315 or Live Chat with us.

Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point, generally above the ankle bone.

Measure around the calf muscle at the widest part.

Measure from the floor to the bend behind the knee.

Measure around the thigh approximately 3" below the gluteal fold (crease of the buttocks).

Measure the distance from the bottom of your buttocks to the floor.
Sizes may differ between various brands of support stockings—each manufacturer has their own sizing chart. A medium in one brand may not be a medium in another, and some brands offer petite (shorter) lengths while others do not. Knowing your measurements will ensure you get compression hosiery that fits properly and comfortably. Sizing charts are located on every product’s “see details” page.

"Works for light use, may not handle big tasks well."
"Although the ultra sheer seems a bit harder to get on than the regular thigh highs once on they feel great and keep the lymphema under more control."
"Fits comfortably, but could be roomier."
"I'm testing this product for leg/vein support"
"Suitable for casual use, could be improved for heavier tasks."
"I’ve switched between Jobst and Sigvartis products over the years, but my favorite compression thigh highs are Jobst Ultrasheer. They’re so comfortable to wear especially here in the South when the summers are hot and humid."
"I haven't opened the box yet. The last 2 pair I ordered seemed to be defective. Material had a different feel. Both pair ran as soon as I put them on. I always wear latex gloves when putting them on. Both pair also seemed to be super tight at the ankles causing swelling above and below the ankle causing pain."
"Jobst hose with silcone dots are the best."
"I like jobst dot topped stockings they stay up."
