Touch Ladies' Intelligent Rib Pattern Knee Highs 15-20 mmHg — Moderate Below-Knee Support in Combed Cotton

Touch women's intelligent rib pattern knee highs deliver 15-20 mmHg moderate graduated compression from ankle to below the knee in a soft combed cotton knit, with the intelligent rib pattern worked into the fabric rather than printed on it. Touch is Surgical Appliance Industries' fashion compression line, made to look like an ordinary dress sock while delivering therapeutic pressure, and it sits in the moderate class used for minor varicosities, tired legs, minor ankle, leg and foot swelling, and post-surgical support.

  • Combed Cotton Knit: Knit with luxuriously soft therapeutic combed cotton.
  • Graduated Compression: Greatest at the ankle and decreasing gradually up the leg.
  • Smooth Non-Slip Comfort Top: Flexible but snug, the wide stay-up top band sits comfortably and doesn't bind.
  • Reinforced Heel Pocket: Knit-in, defined heel for added durability, comfort and proper fit.
  • Seamless Toe Box: Hand-linked seam for greater comfort and less friction and abrasion.
  • Intelligent Rib Pattern: The intelligent rib pattern is knit into the fabric, giving a discreet dress-sock appearance.
  • May Help Relieve Leg Fatigue: Touch states that continued wear can help relieve leg fatigue.
  • May Help Ease Swelling: Touch states that continued wear can help ease swelling.
  • May Promote Healthy Circulation: Touch states that continued wear can help promote healthy circulation.
  • May Help Conceal Leg Blemishes: Touch states that the socks can help conceal unsightly leg blemishes.
  • Designed for Sitting, Standing and Travel: Touch positions these for extended periods of sitting or standing and for travel.
  • Comfort-Led Construction: Combed cotton, a non-binding comfort top and a hand-linked toe seam support all-day wear.

The numbers are the pressure at the ankle in millimetres of mercury, decreasing up the leg. 15-20 mmHg is the moderate class, used for minor varicosities, tired legs, minor ankle, leg and foot swelling, and post-surgical support. Our compression therapy guide explains each level.

Compression sizing isn't standardised across brands — a Medium in one brand is often not a Medium in another, so go by your measurements rather than the size you wore last. Measure your ankle at its narrowest point and your calf at its widest first thing in the morning before swelling builds, against bare skin with the tape snug but not constricting. Our measuring guide walks through each measurement.

Turn the garment inside out to the heel, work the foot in first, then roll it up the leg in stages rather than pulling from the top, which stretches the band. Rubber gloves or a donning aid make it easier. Full instructions are in our guide to putting on compression stockings.

Wash after each wear in cool or lukewarm water with a gentle solution — never fabric softener or bleach — and air dry away from direct heat. With daily wear expect roughly three to six months before the compression declines, so most people rotate two pairs. Full instructions and washing solutions are in our care guide.
