SIGVARIS has engineered premium compression since 1864 — over 160 years focused on venous health. Made in Switzerland and the United States, SIGVARIS is known for medical-grade compression that feels and looks more like fine hosiery than a medical device. For women, this means dependable graduated compression in styles designed to fit and flatter.

For everyday comfort and prevention, 15–20 mmHg. For diagnosed varicose veins or swelling, 20–30 mmHg is most commonly recommended. For lymphedema or severe edema, 30–40 mmHg under a doctor's care. Start at 15–20 mmHg with no diagnosis.

Measure your ankle and calf circumference (plus thigh and length for thigh-highs and pantyhose) in the morning before swelling, then match to the SIGVARIS chart on each product. Sizing is brand-specific, so use SIGVARIS's own chart rather than assuming your size from another brand.

SIGVARIS at 20–30 mmHg and above may be covered or FSA/HSA-eligible when prescribed for a diagnosed venous condition, with a prescription and diagnosis code. Over-the-counter levels without a prescription generally aren't covered. Check with your insurer.

Wash SIGVARIS gently — hand-wash or delicate machine cycle with mild soap, then air dry flat. Avoid the dryer, bleach, and fabric softener. Proper care keeps the compression accurate through the typical 4–6 month replacement cycle; rotating two pairs extends their life.
